The RCTS is updating its website facilities over the weekend of 28th to 31st August. The existing website will be closed down on Friday 28th August. All being well, the new website will be available from Tuesday 1st September, subject to final testing etc.!

Please do not attempt to buy any items from the Digital Archive shop after Tuesday 25th August, so we don't risk missing your purchase in the swap over from the existing site to the new one.

Included in the bundle or available separately, Locomotives of the LNER (1923-1937) is an early (1941) publication by K. Risdon Prentice and Peter Proud. It looked at the locomotive fleet that the LNER inherited at Grouping in 1923 and the subsequent changes up to 1937.  Covering the first 15 years only, it went on to be superseded by the RCTS’s flagship Locomotives of the LNER series.
