Description
A pictorial survey of Edinburgh’s railways is made up of photographs taken by members of The Railway Correspondence and Travel Society (Scottish Branch) in the 1950s and early 1960s. Many of the scenes have changed out of all recognition, such as Princes Street station and the railways of Leith, while others remained remarkably intact. The photographs are the work of K. M. Falconer, N. D. Mundy, W. S. Sellar, G. M. Staddon, W. T. Stubbs and G. N. Turnbull.
